Donald Trump's and Venezuela's political crisis






Venezuela's political crisis has intensified and protests intensified, especially after Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guido declared himself president of a transitional period and held new presidential elections. While the United States rushed to recognize the demands of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, not to use violence against the opposition. For his part, Maduro declared that he was the legitimate president of the country, describing the speaker of parliament and the opposition as "a puppet in the hands of the United States."
